We have a host of career opportunities available

As we have such a diverse portfolio of pubs, there are opportunities to move into different styles of pub throughout your career. We regularly invest in refurbishing our pubs and very often change the "template" which creates opportunities for those looking for their next challenge!

We are also looking to grow our population of Training Managers within the business; those that are responsible for training & developing other Managers using our tools and programs.

An annual appraisal is carried out which allows a two way discussion on career opportunities and identifies your next move. All of our vacancies are advertised internally every week to give everyone an opportunity to apply for roles they may be suitable for.

Licensed Manager

As a Licensed Manager you are the key to our success. We are looking for Managers, either joint or single managers, who have a proven track record in managing a successful business and managing and developing a team. You must have high operational standards, customer service standards and the ability to control your profit and loss account.

Our customers have different needs across our businesses so we look for different Managers with different backgrounds and skills to meet their needs.

Some of our pubs are in the heart of the community so customer interaction is key; you must be able to connect with your customers and offer them a welcoming experience.

Some of our pubs offer a premium dining experience that requires an organised and experienced Manager in delivering exceptional food standards and service.

Assistant Manager

If you are currently working as an Assistant Manager and are ready for a new challenge with Brains then we would love to hear from you.

You must have a passion for great standards and exceptional service. You must have experience of supervising a team of 8 or more, ideally within a hospitality background. You must have exceptional customer service skills and enthusiasm and energy to deliver great results.

There are great career opportunities for our Assistant Managers and many of our current Managers started in this role.
