About the Leased and Tenanted Estate

Brains has owned tied pubs since the business was founded in 1882 and since this time Brains has looked to expand the number of pubs within the estate. One of the first pubs that Brains bought in the following two decades was the Golden Cross in Cardiff, which is still part of the Leased and Tenanted estate today. We now stand at 129 pubs and will look to increase this to 200 within the next 5 years, so the Leased and Tenanted business has always been and will continue to be fundamental to our future growth.
