We're taking part in the first ever ‘Craft Beer Rising’ event in London next month.
We'll be taking a range of beers from our craft brewery, which launched last year, including Barry Island IPA, Boilermaker and Atlantic White, alongside some new beers.
Set in the grounds of the Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane, the trade and consumer event brings together brewers from the UK, street food vendors, and musicians and DJs.
Bill Dobson, head brewer at Brains, explains: "Craft beer is on the rise and there are now around 8 million craft beer drinkers in the UK – which is why we took the decision to install a craft brewery last year. Housed within the main brewery, but just a tenth of the size, we’ve been able to trial a diverse range of beers and respond to a fast-changing market. Since April last year we’ve produced 16 beers – something we couldn’t have achieved in the main brewery.
"It’s great that we’ll be able to showcase some of these beers at Craft Beer Rising, alongside some established and respected craft brewers."
Craft Beer Rising takes place at the Old Truman Brewery from 22nd – 23rd February. For more information, and to buy tickets, visit www.craftbeerrising.co.uk
